”Originally, I wasn’t looking for a birth photographer. I was looking for Maternity photos. A friend referred Michelle to us and we were very impressed with her professionalism and artistic ability. I was nervous about having photos taken as I generally feel awkward in photos, but she made the whole experience very natural. During this time, we found out that she also offered Birth Photography. At first, I was hesitant and didn’t like the idea of being photographed in my most vulnerable state, but I also wanted to capture the moment of our first baby being born.

My labour was a blur. I didn’t even know what was happening around me and there were parts I don’t even remember. The birth pictures that Michelle took for us, not only express emotions and amazing moments but allowed me to experience my birth again and again in an amazing way. We didn’t even realise she was there and to come home from the hospital to have all the photos on USB in our mailbox was unbelievable. 

We underestimated how important the photos would end up being to us. Thank you, Michelle!”

”My wife and I debated the idea of having a photographer in the delivery room with us for a while. It was our first birth and we weren't sure how it was going to go. I can honestly say that we didn’t even realise Michelle was in the room. She was so discreet, yet the photos were so intimate.
My wife and I think she did an incredible job and we can't imagine now not having these photos to look back on. It was such a life-changing experience, yet it disappears from your memory extremely quickly.
